About

The ThinSectionManager software application relies on a robust, spatially aware database engine and a flexible file storage system and offers a convenient graphical user interface to systematically store and access thin section data.

Being based on open source software components and by relying on open or well documented data formats, ThinSectionManager aims to provide a sustainable, long-term software solution for the management of thin sections as digital assets.

ThinSectionManager will be available for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
